Warranty

We care about our products and logically do our best to deliver them to you in top condition. However, it sometimes happens that an order gets damaged during transport or something else occurs that may entitle you to a warranty claim. By law, you are required to report any defect to us within two months of discovering it. If the defect is covered under warranty, we will take care of the repair or replacement free of charge.

The warranty period for the robots is two (2) years from the receipt of the product, except for the conditions mentioned below, starting from the purchase date (the 'warranty period'). During this period, the product will be free of material and workmanship defects.
If the product does not meet the warranty standard, we will repair or replace it free of charge within a commercially reasonable time, as described below.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
(1) This limited warranty does not apply to batteries, accessories, or other consumables such as filters, brushes, garbage bags, cleaning pads, or cleaning solutions.

(2) Unless agreed in writing, the limited warranty does not apply if the defect or defects are related to:
(a) Normal wear and tear,
(b) Defects caused by rough or incorrect handling or use, or damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other natural disasters,
(c) Failure to follow product instructions,
(d) Intentional damage, neglect, or negligence,
(e) Use of spare parts, unauthorized cleaning products (if applicable), or other replacement parts (including consumables) not supplied or recommended by us,
(f) Changes or modifications to the product made by you or a third party not authorized by us,
(g) Inadequate packaging of the product for transportation,
(h) Extreme or external causes beyond our reasonable control, including power failures, fluctuations, or interruptions in electricity supply, internet service from the internet provider, or wireless networks, or
(i) Weak and/or inconsistent signal strength in your home.

(3) This limited warranty is void if:
(a) The product’s serial number is removed, erased, damaged, altered, or rendered unreadable (as determined at our discretion), or
(b) You breach the terms of this limited warranty or your agreement with us.

(4) This warranty will be void if you attempt to repair the defect yourself without consulting us and/or fail to follow the user manual and/or usage instructions.

The return shipping costs for an item with a complaint are initially the responsibility of the customer. These costs will be credited if the complaint is deemed justified.

We will resolve the issue as soon as possible in consultation with you. To ensure smooth processing of your complaint, we kindly request that you follow our instructions strictly.

Complaints
We recommend that you first submit complaints to us by emailing info@zoefrobot.nl. If this does not lead to a resolution, you can submit your dispute for mediation via WebwinkelKeur. Since February 15, 2016, consumers in the EU can also submit complaints through the EU Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not being handled elsewhere, you are free to file it through the EU platform.
